Our Farm
Jim and Barbara Beamer established Beam's Ridge Farm, Blanchester, Ohio, in 1988. At that time
we began raising Angora goats, hay, and grain products.
In 1996 we purchased two weanling Rocky Mountain fillies sired by the Ohio Horse - Kilburn's Chocolate Sundown.
Like many other Rocky owners, we found two weren't enough, and additional Rocky Mountain horses were added to the herd.
We began developing our breeding program to produce full blooded Rocky Mountain horses that are exceptional trail horses as
well as show quality.
We are a "small breeder", producing only a few foals a year. This allows us to hand raise our foals and to
focus on quality vs quantity.
